Product Information
Nice little gents watch, typical for the 60′s. Stainless steel. Hand-wound FHF72 movement. The FHF caliber 72, which is obviously a direct relative of the FHF 67, is a very nice classically constructed mens’ watch movement. The only large-scale produced regulator featuring a free oscillating hairspring. The end of the spring is fixed between two rollers, adjusting actually its length (photos at the bottom). No isochronism error by the gap between the regulator pins.
The center second of this flat movement is directly driven; the ring balance with screws uses a blue Nivarox-1 hairspring, which is still non-adjustable connected to the balance cock. The missing regulator arm gives it a slightly modern touch.
The watch is sold “as is” eventhough it runs immediatly when wound. There is a crack in the crystal near 6. Diameter is 33.1mm without crown.
